I’m doing the general genre of rap because usually the message of most of these songs are usually important and will actually help you but by the way they sound people will immediately stop listening and critique the sounds and the voice and the speed of the tempo. Most of the people that sing these songs have very good stories and inspirational stories too but instead we see them as a bad influence and a “pot head” but really these people have some of the toughest lives and their way of letting it out is through song. Most rappers just use a catchy beat or rhythm to catch their listeners and viewers. The listeners and viewers or audience is actually a wide variety but the people that mostly listen to it are teens and/or young adults and its more popular in inner cities. Their messages are very fair yet they get their message out in a more inappropriate way than other genres. People can apply the message of the song to their lives in multiple ways. They could take some kind of advice out of the song or a belief.
