When I was in eighth grade I made the decision to make baseball my number one sport and further my commitment to it. One of the main reasons was so that I could ultimately want to play at the college level. I saw the TCU rise and grind video it really motivated me to preform at my best and work hard in the off season to get ready for the next tryout or the next season. I took this video to heart and decided to make some of the things in that video reality such as lifting weights and getting into better physical shape and it has payed off. Last year I was a freshman playing at the sophomore lever for school baseball and led the team in “wins” as a pitcher. The TCU baseball program is trying to communicate that if you want to take that extra step you are going to have to rise and grind. The techniques in this video are powerful speaking and just pure motivational speaking to get pumped up for baseball and just anything you need to really. The intended audience is baseball player who need a reason as to why they should get up and work hard in the off season and get after it. I think so far this story is accurate and can be applied in many aspects of life. With this story, like I stated before I use it as motivation.
