Almost 1 year ago, I decided I was going to build a computer. However, there was a problem, I had no idea on how to build a computer or even what parts were needed. This is where YouTube had a tremendous impact on my knowledge of computers. I used YouTube to figure what were the best parts by watching numerous amounts of reviews on computer parts. It took me awhile to choose the parts that I wanted because I need them to be budget friendly, but not lack the performance that I wanted. So once I knew what parts I needed I ordered the parts, but building the computer was a whole different story. Once again I started watching videos on how to build a computer. Most of them weren’t very helpful but a couple were. If YouTube wasn’t around I probably wouldn't have been able to build a computer

These are lyrics from a song called “Life is Worth Living” by Justin Bieber.  The meaning of these lyrics was to tell everyone that it doesn’t matter what other people think and that even if they judge you or crucify you that only God can judge you and that living life is good and it is worth it.  Even though you are hard on yourself you shouldn’t be because everyone has a purpose on this earth.  Justin Bieber is reaching out to his fans and telling them that he does get blamed and judged everyday but life is worth living.  These lyrics are more towards people that hate their life and that hate living and are being judged and bullied.  I feel like he is trying to reach out to those people and tell them that it is okay and that even he is in a rough part in his life and that it is all worth it.

This quote is saying that nothing is impossible when you put your mind to whatever you want to accomplish.  This writer is communicating this message because he is trying to tell everyone to try and even with trying sometimes you won’t succeed but most of the time you will if you put all your effort into whatever the thing is that you're trying to accomplish.  This is toward someone who is striving to be their best and this quote says that if you do what’s necessary in the beginning it gradually will get better and better for you and you could end up doing something with the title impossible.  This quote to go out to all people, men, women, teens, and children because it's just telling you to do your best in everything that you do.

The First quote I want to talk about is from Albert Einstein and is pretty famous. What the quote is saying is that don't chase after things you aren't good at follow the things you love to do and are skilled at. This effect me especially in high school where this is the time of my life where I can find what I love to do and what I'm good at. We shouldn't be restricted on what's acceptable to others like being a doctor or a teacher. We should expand our horizons and find what we are truly made for, other wise we won't have the best lives we can.


 
Now this quote is much different from the last. What these words are saying is that fighting back head on isn't always a good approach. Often times it is better to just prove them wrong though you're actions of determination and not though violence. This can be a helpful tool in our lives too. A good example of this is when others doubt that you can achieve something. They will first ignore you thinking that you will amount to nothing, Then will make fun of your efforts after you work at it for awhile, Then they will confront you and try to discourage you to make them self feel better. but in the end if you stand up for what you want and you put the effort in you will win no matter how hard they try to stop you.


I believe both these quote have effect the way I set my goals and how a approach them, and I hope I'll stand with the values that they have taught me for the rest of my life.

With all the new media now there a lot of ways somebody could be misrepresented and odds are I would be surprised if less than half of all people in this school were not given a distorted version of themselves online. Many people today are given an incorrect version of themselves today not only because it benefits others by incorrectly quoting someone else but also it is incredibly easy. Also, to satire this idea that if someone on the internet says something it must be true, comedian John Oliver made a website called definitelyrealquotes.com where it gives you a picture of a historical figure and quote that is absolutely not correct. The website could you give you a variety of fake quotes; you could find a picture of aristotle discussing STD’s or William Shakespeare asking “are you a cop because legally you have to tell if you’re a cop?”. The whole idea of this came to him when he saw a popular picture of him comparing airport security to gun control but the thing is he never said that, so on his show Last Week Tonight he introduced previously referenced website definitelyrealquotes.com to his viewers. Now, to wrap everything up, the moral here is just because you read something online that sounds true that does not mean that it is true.

Danny Sievers- Albert einstein quote

The type of media I chose is a quote from Albert Einstein. It says “ I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.” What Albert is saying here is that the new modern technology is controlling us and taking away from face to face interaction. He goes on to say that we will all become idiots. We all know Albert Einstein to be the smartest man ever. But he really brings up a good point here. Considering he said this in the early to mid 1900’s, he is spot on with this quote. Just the time that he said this in contributes to the quotes key points.

 
This quote by Michael Jordan is a real inspiration to me because it says that now matter how many times you fail, you can learn from those and be successful. I’m not a basketball fan, but I really like the message, and I remember it all the time whenever things don’t go my way. The message is that he has made many attempts, and missed many shots, and failed many times when the game came down to his shot. But because of those failures, he was able to succeed. Michael Jordan is who delivers this message. In his message, he states the many times he has come up short on his tasks. Then he mentions that those failures are the reasons he has succeeded as much as he did. The quote is for anyone who has a goal working everyday to achieve it, and who have had their rough times while working. I think this quote is very powerful because it can pick you up when you feel like you've messed up.
